Note that dbench depends on the filesystem. For benchs inside real 'guest' nodes (OpenVZ/VServer) you should take into account that the FS tested is not the 'host' node one's.
Be aware that OpenVZ stable is based on a 2.6.8 kernel. So results can differ a lot from 2.6.16's ones.
